Introduction 

Tokyo, the capital of Japan, is one of the most popular Cities in the world and is an ultramodern mix with tradition from neon lit skyscrapers to Traditional/Historical temples from the old days but be careful the city is very busy and you might get lost.

Location 

Tokyo is located on Honshu Island and it is in the Kanto Region. It is also 100km away from Mt Fuji or in Japanese “Fuji-san”.


Population

The estimated population of Tokyo is 13,960,236 (This can change at any time) and the estimated population of Tokyo 2020 was 37,393,000.


History It all started around 400 years ago it was originally called/named “Edo” it was a small fishing village. Tokyo/Edo became the capital of Japan during the Meiji era (1868-1912). In 1945 Tokyo was heavily bombed by The U.S during the Second World War. After the war, Tokyo and the other cities of Japan focused on the economy/money by selling books, TV, cars, etc.
