Hi Amiel, this is Mrs Collins from Manaiakalani and I'll be commenting on blogs over term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I really like the venn diagram you have created about two awesome aviators - do you want to be a pilot when you leave school, or maybe a flight engineer? Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!
I’m Dani, one of the blog commenters for the Kaikohekohe cluster for the Summer Learning Journey. I have heard some great things about the learners in the Manaiakalani cluster so I thought I would jump on and check out some blog posts.
Well done for joining the Summer Learning Journey. Is this your first year participating? It’s my third year being a blog commenter, I keep coming back because I think it’s so much fun! You have done an awesome job of finding similarities and differences and presenting them in a colourful and eye catching way! Did you know that there is a school called Jean Batten School? It is in Mangere in South Auckland, it’s very close to the school that I work at. I think they called the school Jean Batten because it is close to the airport and Jean Batten was an amazing pilot! Have you thought about ever being a pilot?
As it is the holiday period many of the Summer Learning Journey team are currently away from work and are spending some time with their friends and family. This means that you would get many encouraging comments over this time. We want you to keep blogging and we will comment on as many of your posts as we can when everyone is back at work!
Im Jennae. I am too participating in the Summer Learning Journey for the second year. What do you think of it? Is this your first year?
Great job on the work you did about Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart and being aviators. Have you ever been on a plane? These two are incredibe people and did you know they both hold world records?
