  1. Nice work Amiel! I like how you explained why u wanted "Benjamin" as your name.
But Benjamin Stilton is a boy and that is Geronimo's Nephew. Instead you said Niece which means a girl. But good explanation. Just remember that nephew's are boys and niece's are girls.

  3. Mōrena Amiel,

It is lovely meeting you! I am so excited that you are joining us for the Summer Learning Journey 2019-2020. Have you done this programme before?

This is my first year joining the Summer Learning Journey, and I am so excited that I get to read over the Manaiakalani blogs.

I’m really looking forward to summer, aren't you? In my spare time I like spending time at the beach and hanging out with my friends. I also enjoy going for walks and I absolutely love cooking and baking. What are you looking forward to doing this summer?

I liked the way you thought about this activity. It's funny imagining a different name right?! I think both Amiel and Benjamin are great names. I'm sure you're just as tech savvy as Benjamin! :)

When I think about changing my name I can't think of anything... mainly because I can't imagine getting used to a whole NEW name. Imagine someone calling out your name and you don't realise they are talking to you.

Do you think people should be able to change their name if they want to at any time? Or do you think we should keep our given names! Tough question, but curious to know what you think! :)

  4. Hey Amiel,
Great work on your post. Thanks for explaining why you wanted to change your name into Benjamin. I like reading Geronimo Stilton books too! Which one in the series do you like to read? Keep up the good work :)
